Applying solarpunk philosophy to my love life: I have recently realized the “one” I thought I was seeking, my utopian partner, was not the one for me. As Oscar Wilde suggests, I have followed the map to what I thought was a utopia, but upon landing here I have seen there is something further. There is no shame or sorrow to be had in simply obtaining a higher perspective. If we had not been striving for that perspective we would not have landed where we did, or have seen out further as we do now.
